In March 2025, a group of scientists discovered that a massive radiation spike was expected in Zone 37 in the coming weeks, which would lead to the formation of an extremely rare artifact. The news did not go unnoticed, so people from all over began to come to the zone in a desire to find and take possession of this artifact to use it for their purposes. Treasure hunters have decided to make another attempt to strike it rich, and private military companies have increased their contingent in the region to take control of the zone.
